UX Strategist III

Location: Remote

Contract: 12+ Months

As a UX Researcher/Strategist, you’ll be responsible for driving and executing research to influence the design of ETS’s products and empower our product owners with the insights they need to make well-informed decisions. You will work closely with UX/UI designers, product owners, developers, business analysts, and marketing to understand the needs of users by planning and employing a variety of methods including generative (foundational) and evaluative studies, primary and secondary research, and quantitative and qualitative analysis.

• Own the end-to-end research process - design, plan, conduct research, and analyze results
• Collaborate with product teams to develop a UX strategy based on their situation and needs, identify appropriate research questions, and advise the team on best method(s) to answer those questions
• Create research plans that are methodologically rigorous and comply with Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines
• Identify and recruit applicable participants in coordination with product owners
• Facilitate generative research, such as design thinking and ideation exercises, product/market fit, and product/solution fit analysis
• Conduct evaluative research, such as heuristics evaluations, A/B testing, usability testing
• Perform data analysis to determine key findings and translate findings into insights and impactful product-related and strategic recommendations
• Communicate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and presentations
• Mentor and coach junior UX researchers on the team
• Socialize user-centered design methodologies across different audiences at ETS
• Design low-fidelity wireframes or basic prototypes
