Description:
Job Summary/Scope:

  • Position will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the Vendor Continuity program which is part of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program. The Vendor Continuity (VC) Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, maturing, and administering CLIENT' Vendor Continuity Program. The VC Analyst is responsible for monitoring and reporting VC Program metrics to Senior Leadership. This position should expect to liaise with various internal stakeholders on monitoring, reviewing, documenting and/or auditing Critical Vendors. This position will also have direct Vendor contact during the course of administering the VC Program. This position has technical components that will require a candidate to have some technical competency and understanding of CLIENT' IT infrastructure functions.

Essential Job Functions / Accountabilities

  • Administrates and coordinates all aspects of the CLIENT' Vendor Continuity program- 50%
  • Serves as VC Program point-of-contact for the enterprise- 20%
  • Develop, review, enhance and recommend changes to Vendor Continuity policy, programs and procedures - 10%
  • Provide periodic reporting to Senior Management for reporting to ERC- 10%
  • Implements VC program strategy- 10%

Additional Job Functions:

  • Learn and develop competencies within the VC and BCM platform
  • Provide periodic training to internal/external personnel on the VC program
  • Monitor and report on VC exercises, testing and/or audits
  • Serve as the department representative on VC and/or BCM Projects
  • Coordinate with internal/external personnel on VC program

Working Relationships and Decision Expectations:

1. Nature/Purpose of Contact with Others (not including direct/indirect reports or supervisor): Working with and collaborating with all internal and external departments in their Vendor Continuity needs, including periodic education/training. Work with and collaborate with Client affiliate entities on VC and BCM activities, including Global Client personnel. Working with critical vendors to validate vendor resiliency that meets CLIENT' requirements.
2. Team Activity: Working with BCM Team to promote and enhance VC Program as well as the overall BCM Program within CLIENT and Client. Participate and work with Global Client BCM personnel.
3. Project Management: Take a leadership role in the VC and BCM projects that will assist in the development, maintenance and/or maturity of the VC and/or BCM Program.

Work Environment:

This job is in a hybrid work environment.
For jobs based in the Customer Service Centers, work environment may include low to moderate noise level, use of phones and headsets, call monitoring, computers and other office equipment.
Travel Required: Yes, 20% (Domestic)

Salary: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
