Basic required qualifications:
- General understanding and experience with small animal restraint (focus on cats and dogs)
- High school diploma
- Calm, professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable time management and problem-solving skills; working efficiently and effectively throughout the hospital
- Multi-task various duties and responsibilities in a timely and reliable manner, with appropriate follow-through and accuracy
- Understand and follow established hospital processes and procedures (i.e. SOPs)
- Able to work well independently as well as with a team
Preferred qualifications:
- Enrolled in a veterinary technology program
- Ability to perform venipuncture
- Basic understanding of veterinary medical terminology
- Clinical experience working/interning in a veterinary hospital
Work schedule:
- 4/10 work schedule
- Weekend and holiday available required
