Pet Care Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Part-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team! We are looking for a hard-working, drama-light, smart, detail-oriented, and organized Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Pet Care is a busy, 7 doctor, exotics-heavy hospital that has a long history of providing compassionate care and gold-standard medicine for patients in the Hampton Roads area. Our Veterinary Assistants fill a critical support role on our hard-working team along with CSRs, LVTs, and Managers.The right candidate for our team would be fear free certified, or interested in becoming fear free certified. We are a fear-free certified practice as of April 2022!
AVA credentials are also a plus!

The position we are looking for would be two 8-10 hour shifts a week with rotating Saturdays and options to pick up additional shift(s) to cover staff paid time off. Full-time opportunities may be available in the future, so qualified candidates with a full-time interest are welcome to apply. Wage band for this position $17-20/hr.
