We are looking for:

Communication Center Representative

What you’ll do:

• Answer a multi-line phone system in a timely manner and direct calls to the appropriate department
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
• Discuss payment options and process payments
• Maintain hospital security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person
• Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing

Who you are:

• Ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent client service skills and phone etiquette
• Attention to detail, self-motivated and the ability to work successfully as part of a team and autonomously

· Sense of urgency within a fast-paced environment · Some flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary

• Critical thinking skills and ability to anticipate needs inter & intra-departmentally
• General computer competency required including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Previous experience in veterinary setting (preferred)
