New England Cat Care is a two doctor practice located in Woodbridge, CT. We are looking for a full-time, experienced veterinary technician. The right candidate needs strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task. They will need to anticipate the needs of the doctors and clients and be comfortable discussing medical information and recommendations with our clients. Strong attention to detail with a full understanding of feline medicine is required.

We are a compassionate office and take the time to manage our cases carefully. The right candidate will have the opportunity to evolve their position and take an active role in ensuring patients are receiving expert care. Our office does not burn out our team members. Duties:

- Phlebotomy

- Cystocentesis

- Digital radiography

- Blood pressure reading

- Surgery (preparing surgery suite/assisting)

- Inventory control

- Client correspondence

- OSHA Compliance

Requirements:

- High School Diploma (college a plus)

- 2 years + experience

Compensation:

- $20 - $25/hr depending on experience

Hours:

Monday – Friday 8:15am – 4:30/5:30pm, no weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
