VetMED is looking for a full-time Dermatology technician or assistant.

Availability must include Monday through Thursday 8a-6p.

Dermatology. VetMED is an AAHA-accredited specialty referral and emergency hospital with a busy dermatology service comprised of a board-certified Dermatologist and an experienced and collaborative support team. VetMED's other services include Neurology, Internal Medicine, Emergency/Critical Care, Surgery and Radiology. Our Dermatology service is dedicated to advancing veterinary care and supporting the highest quality veterinary medicine in the Valley. All levels of experience will be considered. Full-time opportunities may be available for the right applicant.

Daily job functions include running client appointments, patient restraint, venipuncture, accurate sample processing and submission, sedated and anesthetized procedures (CT scans, otoscopy, allergy testing, mass removals, cryotherapy, etc.), and filling medications in addition to collaboration with other specialty and emergency departments.

We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent client service and communication skills. Applicants should be self-motivated have great attention to detail, and thrive on working as a strong team. Training is available for lesser experienced candidates with a desire to learn and a positive attitude.
