About the role:


As a VP of Agent Compensation & Contracting, you have a unique opportunity to join the management team of iptiQ Americas Operations. You will be a leader of a diverse and driven team committed to thrive and succeed in the task of making this business unit a success within the life insurance market.

Our team delivers the coordination, infrastructure and competencies that are key to driving forward this new business, working closely with our partners and clients. Our mission is to reduce the protection gap by simplifying life insurance and making it more accessible to people. This means delivering solutions consumers feel good about buying and we feel good about selling.


About You:

  • Experience in carrier agent commissions structures and licensing practices
  • Knowledge of the agent contracting and appointment process and how it fits into the overall distribution of insurance products
  • An experience leader in the the independent life and health market
  • A thoughtful servant leader mindset with at least 10 years of senior level leadership experience, including a passion for performance and employee development
  • Comfort dealing with external partners – IMOs, NMO's and internal stakeholders with experience in transformation and continuous improvement
  • Willing to leverage feedback and the ability to quickly process challenges and improve service delivery
  • Past operational experience in a more technical environment is an asset
  • Comfort in dealing with the executive management team and presenting on operational updates at both the tactical and strategic level
  • Experience in strengthening or creating functional dashboards and KPI's to reflect delivery of service and the overall customer experience
  • Experience in driving solutions to enhance the operational performance including identification and sponsorship of required solutions.
  • Experience working in a data driven environment
  • A senior leader who can think strategically while also being able to guide and influence day to day team performance
  • You possess critical thinking skills and are able to quickly assess situations
  • A highly collaborative leader focused on finding innovative solutions and opportunities

For Armonk the estimated salary range for this position is $108,000 to $178,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
