TITLE: Vice President
LOCATION: New York, NY (Option to work remotely within a commutable distance from the worksite)
DUTIES: Analyze and conduct due diligence on primary fund investments and direct equity co-investment opportunities. Lead the diligence and preparation of due diligence materials and investment committee memos. Monitor and report on firm’s existing investments through regular interaction with fund managers, attend annual meetings of private equity firms, review quarterly financials, and perform portfolio analysis. Conduct special projects including product development and asset allocation analyses and support fund marketing and existing client requests.
REQTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field plus six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered, or as an Analyst, Associate or a related position. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in the position offered, or as an Analyst, Associate or a related position. Employer will accept pre- or post-Master's degree experience. Must have six (6) years (or four [4] years in the alternative with a Master’s) of experience within the private equity or investment banking industry performing all of the following: Executing buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leveraged buyout (LBO), equity, and debt financing transactions; Analyzing business model and assessing quality of business by identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats; Conducting financial statement analysis; Performing financial modeling and valuation using Discounted Cash Flow (CF), public comparables, precedent transactions, and LBO model; Bloomberg; and CapitalIQ. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
TRAVEL REQS: 10% domestic travel is expected to various and unanticipated company and client sites.
HOURS: Full-Time; Mon-Fri (40 hrs/week)
SALARY: $200,000 per year
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $200,000-$200,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
