OVERVEIW
The Vice President, Digital Platforms, will help guide the business operations of the next phase of the NHL’s core digital offerings. Working within the Digital Media and Innovation team, this position will oversee the migration of NHL.com, the Club websites and the NHL app and help steer the platforms’ ongoing evolution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Act as the main point of contact for the various parties (internal and external) involved in the platform migrations
- Represent and advocate for the wide-ranging business-needs (e.g., sales, sponsorship, innovation, engagement, marketing) serviced by the properties
- Collaborate across departments to develop and integrate future initiatives into digital properties
- Oversee the Clubs through the migration process
- Ensure compliance of digital policies/requirements by rightsholders, partners and Clubs
- Support the operations of NHL.TV across League, Club and fan userbases
QUALIFICATIONS
- 15 years of experience in digital media
- Creative and solution-oriented problem solver who can think and act on the fly
- Proven ability to work on a cross-functional team with an understanding of the technical and legal components of a project in addition to the business ones
- Experience translating business needs and priorities into executable project plans
Salary Range for this role is $175K to $230K
