Purpose / Objective
The VP Clinical Operations Manager has proven ability to lead a large and diverse nursing team and empowers to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes. The VP of Clinical operations will assume a lead role in influencing the clinical operations strategy and execution of our client's clinical program.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities / Tasks
Primary duties, responsibilities, and tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

Conducts themselves in a highly ethical and professional manner maintaining confidentiality and protecting the integrity of the company.

Maintains confidentiality and security of the company’s information, correspondence, reports and files

Provides timely communication and promotes positive relations

Manage staff in accordance with organizations' policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work, The VP will also have responsibility for managing timelines, budgets and resources and development of and adherence to trial operations SOPs

Provides Leadership to all Clinical Operations staff, including both internal staff and external resources
-
Oversee or develop department policies, SOPs and other required documents, including clinical protocols, work instructions, and manuals
-
Develop and implement processes to build appropriate infrastructure for Clinical Operations to successfully plan, execute and report on clinical operations that support corporate objectives
-
Responsible for ensuring operational excellence to a high standard such that the clinical conduct meets all appropriate best industry practices, regulatory requirements, partner requirements
-
Develop systems that allow for clear, accurate and current views of all key operations metrics, quality and provider performance metrics
-
Prepare, review and monitor all clinical budget projections and expenditures to ensure adherence to budget

Keep current on latest developments in clinical operations particularly with regard to monitoring practices
-
Manage staff of Clinical Operations and ensure roles are performed and staff are appropriately trained

Represent the Clinical Operations department and provide updates to Senior Management

Must have a demonstrated track record to independently manage and provide significant tactical, technical and leadership guidance to clinical development operations team

Must have a demonstrated track record of effective liaison with other key functions, including Clinical, Regulatory & Quality, Finance,
-
Leading and inspiring others to accomplish specific tasks and achieve challenging business objectives through team development, clear and consistent communication, coaching, and delegation
-
All other duties as designated by manager
Minimum Qualifications ( Education, License, Certifications, Experience)
-
Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
-
Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred. Successful record of creating, improving, and executing programs.
-
Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred.
-
Required multi-state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
-
Ability to work within a diverse and cross-functional team.
-
Strong analysis, problem-solving, decision making, and influencing skills.
-
Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
-
Must have 5+ years of leadership experience preferably in Remote Patient Monitoring, Chronic Care Management, and/or Home Health.
-
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in the use of Google Suite, Salesforce, EHR/PM systems, and spreadsheet management.

Strong attention to detail and managing/prioritizing diverse projects

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to work virtually and independently, be self-directed and motivated, and meet deadlines

Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties and a team player

Strong operational project management experience including excellent planning, prioritization, problem solving and organizational skills

Used to managing multiple priorities

Clear written and verbal expression of ideas, an active/proactive communicator

Proven ability to interact, train, and build strong relationships with providers and clinical monitors

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)

Proven experience providing effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Ability to speak effectively and professionally with individuals or groups inside and outside of the company

Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and act efficiently and with urgency

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks at any given time

Proven ability to contribute in a high-paced work environment consistently and positively with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships

Strong written communication and presentation skills
