Based in the Headquarters of Safran USA (Irving, Texas), the VIE Financial Analyst will be working directly with the Director of Finance to improve the controlling of Safran USA and some other legal entities managed by the finance department
Complementary description
1. The VIE Financial Analyst will assist on the monthly closing tasks of Safran USA
2. He/she will assess and monitor organizational performance against budget, run variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and provide insights to support management decision making
3. Supervised by the Director of Finance, the VIE Financial Analyst will support the annual internal control campaign and will maintain and update procedures in compliance with audit requirements and enforce the application of procedures in the companies under her/his responsibilities
4. The VIE Financial Analyst will be involved on redesigning some accounting tasks to make them leaner and save time with the final objective to reduce the monthly closing lead time and will conduct continuous improvement actions with strategic planning and analysis to restructure and automate the finance department processes
Job requirements
Master's degree from a top ranked business school or equivalent in a related field and 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in controlling
