VP, Strategy & Strategic Planning

The VP, Strategy & Strategic Planning is responsible for driving Teradata's corporate strategy process with both internal and external teams. As part of the Strategy Office, they will oversee the organization’s activities related to mid and long-range strategy development, as well as short-term strategic planning. They will work closely with other executives to define & develop goals and objectives. They will design and drive the strategic planning calendar for Teradata, ensuring functional strategies/plans are aligned to the overall corporate strategy. The ideal candidate has core problem solving abilities applicable to a broad range of topics in the tech/software industry, deep experience in several functions, whether in industry or in consulting, and experience leading cross-functional teams on strategic topics.

You will bring a collaborative mindset and broad perspective every day to create best in class strategy development process coupled with your experience leading cross-functional teams in a global technology company to analyze and solve complex problems. You will do this by:

Lead internal and external teams to develop, maintain, refresh, and extend our company strategy, in collaboration with stakeholders across the organization

Develop and drive approaches to ongoingly sense and synthesize relevant market, competitive, employee, customer, and partner insights to inform the strategy

Play a leading role in defining what we stand for in the market and where we are going as an organization
