Wabtec Corporation is hiring an entry level CNC Machinist for our production warehouse located in Grove City, PA. We need a hard-working individual who can bring innovative ideas to our rapidly growing team and a desire to learn a new trade. • Starting pay of $23.98 effective Janury 2023. Pay progression up to $25.07 after 18 months
• $1,000 sign on bonus payable after 90 days of employment!

We have a variety of shift times available to meet your work-life balance needs!

• 1st shift hours: 5:45 am - 2:15 pm or 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
• 2nd shift hours: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm or 2:15 pm - 10:45 pm
• 3rd shift hours: 10:00 pm - 6:30 am or 9:45 pm - 6:15 am

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• Perform machine set-ups, grind tools, and related assembly work
• Relocate and distribute parts, materials and assemblies using cranes, jitneys and/or other heavy machinery
• Operate metal removal machines, both manual and N.C. controlled
• Inspect parts while using inspection gauges

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing experience with 1 year of machine operating experience or specialized education, automotive or mechanical experience
• knowledge of basic hand tools, prior experience operating overhead cranes/forklifts, and a general understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
