An international logistics company is in search of a strong leader to act as Warehouse Operations Assistant Manager for their Mira Loma facility.

• $60K – 75K per year (Exempt)

Requirements of the Warehouse Operations Assistant Manager:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 10 years of warehouse/packing operations experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of supply chain activities including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and systems
• Knowledge of packaging materials, equipment, and processes
• Effective analytical, planning, and execution skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Exemplary work ethic and professional demeanor
• Forward-thinking problem solver
• Adaptable to changing environments
• Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
• Working knowledge of WMS or TMS is preferred
• Familiarity with Kaizen and/or CTPAT is a plus

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operations Assistant Manager:

Manage team and resources to meet daily productivity, quality, and safety objectives

• Ensure completion of daily goals according to customer requirements
• Verify department’s adherence to all procedures and processes
• Recommend changes and suggest improvements
• Effectively communicate strategies and constraints with upper management
• Participate in daily planning meetings
• Report on progress towards department goals, problems, issues, and recognitions
• Regularly review associate performance
• Provide training and guidance to staff
• Issue employee recognitions and disciplinary actions
• Foster a positive work environment and culture
• Additional duties as assigned

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
