Summary:

Ensures customer’s order, complaints and requests are processed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective method. Trains and manages support team. Requires a bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop and implement effective systems and procedures

· Ensure compliance of a cGMP warehouse

· Coordinate activities of operation with other internal departments, external departments, third party vendors and customers.

· Supervise daily operations across a shift including performance, attendance and merit evaluations.

· Supervise employee workload and objectives as required to optimize staff effectiveness.

· Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, regulatory requirements, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.

· Ability to supervise shipping activities.

· Ensure all orders are released and filled daily

· Proficient in logistics management systems

· Manage multiple priorities

· Prepare daily reports

· Perform daily inventory counts to ensure error free shipping

· Operate appropriately to ensure a safe working environment

· Maintain HazMat compliance with shipments

· Ensure general housekeeping functions are followed

· Operate forklift and pallet jack

· Operate shipping systems as necessary

· Establish and Maintain Key Performance Indicators

· Perform other duties as assigned

· Must maintain accuracy of shipments

· Must best utilize inventory of supplies

Key Performance Indicators

Manage staff to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators bonus incentive of up to 7%:

· Receiving

· Inventory Control

· Order Accuracy

· On Time Delivery

· Attendance

· Safety

Qualifications

· Working knowledge of all areas of the Ft Worth Warehouse functions.

· This person must be a cGMP trained in pharmaceutical practices.

· Some knowledge of windows and PC software.

· Some knowledge of Synapse

· Trained in lift truck operation.

· Exposure to local, state and federal regulations (i.e. OSHA, FDA, DEA, DOT, EPA etc.)

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Strong analytical skills

· Ability to prioritize and handle numerous tasks simultaneously, detail oriented.

· Work well under pressure and with limited supervision.

· International shipping and documentation experience.

Education and/or Experience:

Must have 3 – 5 years expierence in a distribution environment

A minimum of 2 years expierence as a Warehouse Supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
