Diversified Sourcing Solutions is looking for Wax Room Technicians to become an integral part of our client’s team which is located in Sugarland.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Inject and assemble sprues and wax patterns (similar to plastic injection molding).

Understand machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machine parameters as necessary.

Inspect work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces to determine accuracy of machine operation, using calipers, templates, or other measuring instruments.

Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling or cleaning machines, dies, or work pieces.

Maintain a clean and organized work space and work department.

Flexibility to cross train in other departments, learning new jobs depending on work flow and product mix.

The wax injection technician will have the following qualifications:

Able to safely operate hand-held tools.

Able to work safely with sharp and heavy objects (ie) utility knives, aluminum molds up to 50 lbs.

Able to use a computer and calculator.

Able to comprehend and follow printed and computer screen instructions and directions

Strong attention to detail.

Able to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

Must be able to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.

Must communicate effectively in English (read, write, speak).

COMPENSATION-$15-$17 DOE

**All employees must be prepared for a background check, 5 panel Drug screen and show proof of eligibility to work in the US.
