Static Media is looking for enthusiastic, hard-working freelance writers to join our team. Ideal candidates have experience writing content for print or the web with a focus on summarizing published content in short-form. We are looking for creative individuals who are self-sufficient and versatile. These positions are work-from-home with flexible, stable hours. Location does not matter; U.S. and international candidates are encouraged to apply.

About Web Stories

Web Stories are short-form, news and feature stories published for users to consume on mobile platforms.

Writer Responsibilities:

• Claim written articles from a large selection of assignments
• Summarize and design stories in custom Web-Story Builder on a quick turnaround, depending on the topic and timeliness of the story
• Contribute to and follow the guidelines of our style guide, editorial strategy, and publishing standards to uphold quality of content
• Compensation: $15 per hour
• Commitment: minimum 15 hours per week, maximum 40 hours per week

Experience:

Experience with building content in a Web-Stories format is a plus but not necessary to apply. Looking for candidates who are good writers, fast learners, and excellent team players.
