Job description
General Requirements
This person reports directly to the Operations Manager. The Wedding Coordinator must be able to multi-task and juggle between multiple weddings and vendors. The Wedding Coordinator must be able to handle the high-profile nature of the wedding day without showing stress to the clients, guests, or vendors. They must be able to identify problems and create solutions on the fly. A Wedding Coordinator will communicate with vendors and clients before and during the wedding and need to be able to handle guests in a chaotic environment. Every client wants the perfect wedding and expects their demands to be met; therefore, the Coordinator needs to have patience and understanding throughout the entire process.
Job Duties
Pre-wedding day:
- Initial detailed communication to understand the client’s vision
- Follow-up emails after each meeting to confirm you have all details correct.
- Be able to communicate adequately leading up to wedding (call, email, and text)
- Create day-of timeline
- Contact all vendors 30 days out for scheduling and details as well as week of to confirm any changes. Communicate the timeline to all vendors.
- Rehearsal management
Wedding day management:
- Coordinate rehearsal (handling logistics on getting from point A to point B if part of package sold)
- Set-up of decorations if applicable
- Oversee vendor load-ins
- Assist with photographer/videographer
- Pin boutonnieres/corsages
- Coordinate ceremony
- Ensure items get transported from ceremony to reception
- Light candles/prepare reception space
- Ensure all vendors are ready for reception to begin (bar, caterer, DJ, etc.)
- Coordinate reception (follow timeline with vendors)
- Clean up/decoration teardown only (if client paid for it)
- Keep everyone involved stress-free!
- Payment distribution

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $400.00 - $600.00 per day
