Wilton Manors Health and Rehab , a Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a Full-time Wound Care Nurse to join our team!
As a Wound Care Nurse, your position involves making comprehensive wound assessments and creating a plan of care including goals, implementation of treatment, evaluation and outcomes for residents throughout the Facility. The position will also provide, general direct nursing care to the residents, family and staff education regarding wound management.
The Responsibilities include:
Performs wound care treatments as ordered.
Performs an evaluation of patient and/or resident’s skin condition upon admission.
Reports and communicate findings with the assigned physician.
Documents status of all wound healing and treatment provided.
Reviews skin assessments and evaluation for all newly admitted patient and/or residents with significant change.
Job Requirements
Must possess, at a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate from an approved LPN/LVN/RN program.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a medical or surgical, rehabilitation nursing setting.
CWOCN or CWCN preferred.
