Job description
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
- Weld components mostly in flat positions.
- Follow strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, safety glasses, safety-toed shoes, etc.
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
- Work week typically Mon-Thurs 10 hr shifts 5 AM - 3:30 PM
- Overtime sometimes required
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
- A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
