As a Fitter/Welder at Trinity, you’ll layout, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of metal according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches in preparation for welding. You’ll tack weld pieces together and apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other welding materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches using manual and/or semi-automatic welding equipment.
What you’ll do:
- Proficient at fillet & grove welds
- Proficient at Oxy Fuel Cutting
- Proficient at Carbon Arcing
- May perform GMAW, FCAW, or SMAW welding
- May weld on stainless Performs out-of-position welding and repairs
- Accurately measures within specified tolerances
- Reads blueprints and Weld Symbols
Qualifications :

- Minimum of 1 year of experience
