What you’ll do for us!!
The PCL Workforce Development Specialist acts as company representative delivering information regarding employment opportunities and services. This role delivers all facets of successful employment and staffing requirements with a strong emphasis on recruiting throughout the community and care center.
- Attends community and charitable events to share details about Personal Care and attract applicants and potential clients.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with educational institutions in order to attend events and communicate information to students and recent graduates regarding the company and opportunities.
- Assists the new hire onboarding process by creating a welcoming collaborative environment and ensuring new hires are appropriately scheduled for first assignments.
- Follows up with new hires once they come onboard to review assignments, job satisfaction, and address concerns if necessary.
- Actively participates in community activities and events increasing awareness of the company’s Personal Care Line.
- Facilitates and/or participates in both internal and external job fairs and hiring events.
- Works with care center DOO, SRM and Team Lead to review critical staffing needs.
- Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Who YOU are…..
- Possess communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter an independent leader
- Ability to quickly learn the company and services offered
- Understanding of the staffing needs of each individual care center
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Strong understanding of state and federal rules and regulations
Preferred, but not necessary!!
- Previous experience as care giver to understand the needs and requirements of the position.
- Spanish Language Skills
