What you will be doing

The Workspace Coordinator supports the Facilities and Office Services Department at the AmerisourceBergen (AB) Headquarters. The Workspace Coordinator performs various duties to include space planning and move management, facilities maintenance, vendor management, and office reconfiguration.
This role is based on-site in the Conshohocken office Monday - Friday, standard business hours.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance surveys for the building and compile and maintain a prioritized list of recommended upgrades and general maintenance repairs.
  • Coordinate and oversee vendor restocking of breakroom coffee and supplies.
  • Resolve HQ Support inquires/issues via ticketing system
  • Perform move preparation and coordination for small size moves. These activities may include review of the move request submitted through the company proprietary associate support work order system, update move requirements as necessary, submit IT work order for support, provide move supplies and support to moving team members. Update nameplates and site space management system.
  • Assist with implementation of restack and remodels. This typically includes performing coordination with the IT department, security department and janitorial staff.
  • Support emergency preparedness events and coordinate with emergency services during an actual event.
  • Develop strong working relationship with team, property management, and building security.
  • Manage vendor relationships (waste, recycling, document shredding, cleaning, vending, etc.)
  • Facilitate minor repairs when needed and manage major repairs quickly and efficiently.
  • Perform and coordinate furniture repairs and furniture replacement.
  • Perform key management for base building doors and other doors.
  • Coordinate with the hiring manager to ensure onboarding (new hire) work order is submitted to the IT Department so that the badging ticket is created and fulfilled.
  • Audits and maintains various reports specific to his/her department by checking for errors inconsistencies or discrepancies; makes corrections and notifies appropriate personnel of any modifications.
  • Updates and maintains pertinent business information via computer or department files. Submit information, documents, or reports to various other departments for processing as needed.
  • Assists with a variety of scheduled and unscheduled projects occurring in the department at any given time.
  • Monitors various email boxes and takes appropriate action as required
  • Maintain and promotes positive and professional working relationships with associates, teammates and management.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform related duties as assigned
What your background should look like
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Completion of a 2-year associate degree or trade school certificate preferred
  • IFMA or BOMI credentials a plus
  • Some knowledge of standard practices and procedures of construction trades such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting and mechanical systems, including materials and tools; applicable code requirements; methods and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment; safety precautions to be observed in the maintenance and installation of electronic and mechanical equipment
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing or walking
  • Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in Building Maintenance, must be able to understand the need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary, to perform a specific function safely
  • Ability to operate and use a broad spectrum of tools and equipment skillfully and safely perform heavy physical labor; follow and give oral and written instructions; maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse customer base
  • Ability to multitask and meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and MS Teams is required
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
