Summary
The Coaching Manager is responsible for supervising a team of coaches to ensure that work is completed with fidelity and quality. The Coaching Manager builds and maintains a collaborative Professional Learning Community among coaching teams and ensures consistency and continuous improvement incoaching practices. They will report to the Deputy Director of Program to keep a clear line of communication on programmatic initiatives and related concerns between specialists and coaches across the state. The Coaching Manager also works with other Coaching Managers and their teams to streamline the work, develop and codify practices and protocol, and develop an overall coaching team that supports the providers.

Duties
Recruits, hires, develops and manages coaches who deliver customized support to providers with their practices at the classroom level, leadership level, or when needed to execute the program with fidelity.
Builds an effective team that is capable of delivering high-quality support and interfacing effectively with other Coaching teams, Coaching Managers, Content Specialists, Instructional Designers, subcontractors, and external resources.
Evaluates data to inform and improve individual and team practices.
Provides continual professional development for each coach on the team at a regular frequency, including on-site, in-program support that ensures continued content expertise and consistency among coaches within the team.
Develops protocols and procedures that ensure coaching practices is consistently and reliably deployed.
Participates in assigned meetings, events and training as required, in-person and virtually and attends ongoing professional development courses

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or two credentials in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development or related field. Master's degree or Coaching Credential/Certification preferred
- 5+ years' experience in early childhood required, experience in WI YoungStar system strongly preferred
- 3+ years of center-based leadership experience and/or 2+ years of coaching experience required
- Completion of all required state trainings and certifications
- Experience delivering professional development support (in-house within a childcare/early education program) or to other programs strongly preferred
- Specialized training around implicit bias, anti-bias ECE programming, equity, inclusion and related area
- Experience teaching or coaching in an ECE classroom/program setting
- Recognized as a Master Trainer and/or Approved Consultant through the Wisconsin Registry's Professional Development Approval System (PDAS)
- Experience working with a variety of ECE programs types, including at a minimum, both family and group child cares
- Experience developing, implementing, and/or participating in a Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) in a program and/or local, regional, or state level
- Physical exam and background checks are required for this position
- Travel required locally or long-distance up to 20% of the time for work-related meetings and functions
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
