Job description
Assist Youth Service Specialist with the day to day operations for youth services programming; homework center and summer youth programs. Assist youth with homework, tutor elementary and middle school age youth, supervise center activities and prepare snacks for youth. Responsible for conducting intakes, pre-assessments and internal and external referrals. Assist in the development of new programming.
Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in a related field or some post-secondary education with tutoring experience can be substituted for degree; with at least one year of experience in youth programming. Proven leadership, Supervisory skills, organizational, Interpersonal and communication skills. Strong tutoring skills and experience working with youth. Must have acceptable CORI.
