This position is working for a leading food and beverage production facility located in the BDO right here in Ogden, UT. This is a great entry-level position for anybody who is looking to switch up career paths, wanting to build on experience and skillset, and grow with an expanding company.

Right now we're hiring for our sugar cookie packaging department- there are two shifts (Days and Graves) that are on a 2-days on, 2-days off schedule with 12 hour shifts, and each shift will be working a half shift (6 hours) on Wednesdays.

**Printed out schedules will be provided to each new hire and will be explained to help with a smooth transition to this schedule

***Please keep in mind that production needs change on a regular basis and we may not have your desired shift available at the time of your application. We would encourage you to check in regularly by texting us to see when that shift does become available. We are also able to accomodate schedule changes if you'd like to get started on one shift UNTIL the desired shift becomes available. We appreciate your patience and kindness if this happens as it is out of our office's control.

Some of the tasks you'll be responsible for will be- packaging and boxing cookies in preparation for shipping, quality assurance to make sure these beautifully (and deliciously) decorated cookies are packaged with care, breaking down and building cardboard boxes, and helping keep your production station clean and free of cookie crumbles and debris. This position can be repetitive but it's very lightweight work and does not require a lot of lifting or carrying. The sugar cookies are delicate daisies and do require a little extra TLC while packaging, but our top-notch lead teams will be readily available for training and a happy helper on your team will always be close by for any questions!

Please not that this awesome opportunity IS with a food manufacturing company- Although most of the PPE is provided by the client (Uniform work shirts, gloves, hairnets, beard nets, safety glasses, and gloves) you are solely responsible for having your own pair of steel toe boots/shoes (mandatory for this role). Dress code is casual but Jeans/Denim are the required type of pants, no leggings or sweatpants. There is also no room for tainted batches so no jewelry (facial or ear piercings) is allowed to be worn on the floor, and unfortunately ladies, the same goes for artificial nails or nail polish, and artificial eyelashes.

All of these shift start/end times are available in Part-Time shifts as well! Our Part time availability could be working around 24-36 hours per week. You can selected to work Saturday, Sunday OR Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
