We are seeking an Account Manager to work for the Show and Event Services Department.
This role is open to candidates in the following markets -
Buffalo, NY; Denver, CO; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Austin, TX; San Antonio, TX; Washington DC and Chicago, IL.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prospect new clients for business opportunities while maintaining a business relationship with existing clients to encourage repeat business
- Provide estimated budgets that support the client’s vision while maintaining a profitability threshold of 45% for each event
- Work to reach the annual revenue performance goals established by INSPIRE
Sales and Professional Development
- Contact sales lead sources for Branch sales to include, but not limited to:
- Convention and Visitors Bureau’s calendar
- Internet searches
- Invoicing
- Monitor in-market client lists to insure information is kept up to date
- Operate seamlessly with both Sales and Operations
- Demonstrate evidence of organization and accountability in position
- Uphold excellent customer sales and service skills under pressure
- Articulate in communicating ideas, concepts, and directions clearly and concisely
- Maintain grooming to company standards and to the standards of our clients
- Maintain excellence in customer service, organization, and problem solving
Accounting
- Establish credit accounts for events invoicing in excess of $10,000
- Work with Accounts Receivable on invoicing
- Create Credit Memos when appropriate
- Complete a Job Cost on all events invoicing over $5,000 pre-tax
Minimum Requirements
- College Degree preferred, but will consider equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a sales capacity in the AV, event, hotel, or related field
- Experience in telemarketing sales a plus
- Experience in strategic sales account management
- Shows potential in creative and financial skills necessary for career advancement
