Job Description:
This position will work within the Accounting team to meet financial objectives for day-to-day practices and financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Perform bookkeeping and administrative tasks as assigned by management.

• Perform errands, including but not limited to: bank deposits, post office drops, etc., as needed.

• Participation in ad hoc projects

• Under the guidance of the Controller, manage the following tasks:

- Maintain software/systems for compliance, maintenance, asset purchases/ tracking, and supplies

- Maintain and update workpapers

- Record receipt of payments from customers

- Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts

- Record inventory adjustments for retail and marketing POS items

- Record journal entries for POS activity, payroll, accrued expenses, prepaid expenses

- Maintain system for charitable donations, promo beer, merchandise activity, and accounting for employee benefits

- Maintain organized records of all hard copy or electronic data

• Serve as back-up for Accounting Clerk when needed

• Self-review all work

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

• Three – five years’ experience in accounting or finance.

• Experience in Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP accounting software preferred

• Competent in MS Office suite

• Advanced Excel skills

• Respect for confidentiality and the handling of sensitive data

• Strong time management, attention to detail, and problem solving skills

• Effective communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
