We have a great direct hire position in Carteret, NJ. This position will be on-site.

Who We Are:

Bruker is seeking an Accountant with strong fundamental accounting background to join our accounting team due to organizational growth. This position will handle the general accounting functions to include Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and General ledger with a career path to move into a cost accounting role. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have a strong desire to learn the manufacturing/inventory side of the business.

What You Will Do:

• Accounts payable review and entry into SAP accounting system
• Review GRIR report to ensure posting of goods receipts for payment
• Work with Plant personnel to ensure invoices are posted timely
• Weekly Check/ACH payment runs through SAP and banking system
• Processing of incoming payments to bank
• Weekly OT hours reporting for Management
• Participate in the monthly close process, budgeting, and variance reporting
• Assist with preparation of data for quarterly/annual audits
• Participate in ad-hoc projects – upgrade to scanning Account payable and accounting system
• Weekly Work order aging for planners/Management
• Assist accounting team with other duties as needed

What You Need:

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
• Excel experience -spreadsheets, pivot tables and v-lookups a plus
• Strong interpersonal abilities, written and verbal communication skills, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivation and passion are highly desired
• Ability to work independently and in teams, collaboration in a multi-cultural environment
• SAP experience a plus
• Manufacturing/ cost accounting experience a plus, willing to train
