Sky Climber Access Solutions, LLC, is a national rental & service provider for suspended access equipment with locations throughout the United States. Sky Climber Renewables is a renewable energy service provider with a growing number of field service technicians, offering a full menu of inspection, repair and maintenance services to the world’s largest OEMs and asset owners.
Through a shared service model, these two businesses of Sky Climber are seeking a highly motivated, Accounting Associate with strong fundamental accounting skills. This position will report to the Controller. The Accounting Associate should be focused, detail-oriented, organized, displays strong transactional processing skills, enjoys variety, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. - Handling of daily check deposits for multiple companies.
- Establishing new customer accounts through credit checks and account set-up.
- Assist accounting team members with customer account statement maintenance.
- Credit card processing for payments from customers.
- Coordination with payroll department of personal employee reimbursement detail.
- Facilitating the administration of company credit cards; to include, new issuances, credit limit adjustments, removing blocks, sending monthly statements for approvals.
- Collaborate with operations/management and vendors on vendor management.
- Process accounts payable for multiple entities, working directly with CFO to complete payments.
- Working directly with Controller and CFO on other project-based tasks to support the businesses.
- 3-5 Years’ Experience in Finance or Accounting
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with members of Leadership at all levels
- Solid understanding of US GAAP, general accounting processes and internal controls
- Experience using accounting software (ERP software)
- Intermediate or advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Results orientated with natural sense of urgency
