Weiser Security, based in New Orleans, LA is looking for a full time Accounting Clerk for the corporate office located in New Orleans. Weiser Security is a privately owned Contract Security company that has been in business for over 40 years. Our success is rooted in our employee oriented focus, which in turn allows us to provide exceptional service to our customers. Based in New Orleans, but over 20 offices located throughout the United States. Its an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated accounting team.

Weiser is looking for an efficient Accounts Payable Clerk for our corporate office located in New Orleans. Must be detail oriented and focused on accuracy.

Main Responsibilities and Job Duties Include:

• Account Payable functions, paying out expense reports, paying bills timely, reconciling outstanding invoices.
• Work with sub contractors for billing
• Account reconciliations. Will be required to post checks to invoices, verify invoices, and fix any discrepancies in billing or collections.
• Ensuring branches are staying within budget and issue PO accordingly.
• Oversee office supplies
• Paying vendors timely
• Issuing PO to branches for purchases
• Payroll and billing specialist

Need to be able to communicate with all levels of organizations in a professional but sometimes tough approach. Must be willing to hold employees accountable to their budgets.

Experience Preferred:

• 5 years payables/accounting experience
• Must be familiar with accounting packages and software
• Must be organized, sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Must use Microsoft Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
