Assistant Role Description
We’re growing the team at Holistic Lactation! We are looking for an Assistant who is passionate about what they do and is looking for a long-term partnership.
This role is perfect for an experienced assistant who is truly passionate about what they do. You must love details, graphic design, customer service, and helping with miscellaneous projects as the company continues to grow!
When you join the team, we expect you to be ready to dive right into learning about the business, answer our audience’s questions and concerns within 24 hours, and communicate with us when things don’t make sense or when you feel stuck.
Responsibilities:
- Daily*
- Handle all scheduling for Jacqueline as well as calendar management
- Organize and respond to emails daily in our inboxes
- Social media outreach and handling all messages
- Communication liaison for business partners and team
- Serve as point of contact for all customers with empathy and compassion
- Administrative support
- Weekly*
- LinkedIn marketing/networking
- Podcast guest scheduling & follow-up communication
- Create and send weekly newsletters to our email list
- Document management - organizing all company documentation and maintaining the system
- System creation & management in ClickUp and Airtable - ensure we’re keeping track of all the moving pieces
- Monthly*
- Pull analytics and create a report to share with the team
- *As-Needed/Project-Basis:
- Website page and copy updates as needed
- Miscellaneous projects/tasks as needed
- Data entry and data analysis
Requirements (this role is right for you if you have):
- *Proven graphic design skills (be prepared to share a few examples)
- *A close eye for details - typos never get past you
- *Excellent writing skills
- *A proactive and process-driven approach to your work
- Worked previously as an assistant in a growing online company
- Above and beyond customer service skills
Non-negotiables:
- *Have to be an excellent communicator
- Knowledge of business etiquette
- Someone who is a problem solver, self-starter, and incredibly resourceful
Bonus points if you have:
- Video / Audio Editing experience
- Sales copywriting experience
Details:
- This is a W2 part-time employee position*
- Time zone preference: *Must be willing to work in the Pacific time zone, but can be located anywhere in the US
