Job Summary
The Director of International Finance & Operations works closely with the Associate Provost for Internalization and the Provost Budget Office to provide oversight and management of the fiscal activities of the UK International Center’s $6.4M operating budget. As a member of the UK International Center’s leadership team, this position is actively engaged in strategic forecasting and support of ongoing initiatives. Leads a team of financial managers to achieve the effective and efficient operation of the International Center’s business operations and compliance with University-mandated internal controls. Works with other operational leaders to advise on matters concerning internal controls, fiscal planning, and HR strategy. This position demands critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and a commitment to shared governance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a commitment to professional ethics, and a strong analytic background are key to success in this position.

Significant experience in financial management and administration in a university or comparable setting.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage the financial activities of a diverse array of programs.
Experience working with sponsored programs and university accounts.
