Job Description Summary
This position will further the mission of the college by supporting faculty, staff, and students as an application administrator for a portfolio of the college’s information systems and integrations.

Duties
1. Provides system administration of Ellucian Colleague – NCCCS Template – and related systems. Administers auxiliary systems including Ellucian Self-Service, and Informer (4 and 5), and assists with 25 Live. This includes cloning, patching, version upgrades, and bug fixes. Ensures proper configuration and operation of interfaces and integrations including ILP, FA~Link, TouchNet, Destiny One, Regroup, Maxient, Azure Active Directory, Ethos, and additional systems added to the suite.
2. Provides tier 2 and tier 1 support for a suite of application systems used by the College. Engages external support communities as needed for technical support.
3. Proactively engages users, vendors, and support communities to understand user processes and develop/enhance software capabilities to co-create and increase operational value.
4. Engages in professional development: virtual and in-person conferences, formal and informal technical training, group/team meetings, division, and College professional development.
5. Contributes to strategic and technical planning in the IT Division and Information Systems group: technical planning, product and service lifecycle planning, enhancement goals, user training and support, and IS staff development.
6. Ensures standard operating procedures (SOP), knowledge management database, and configuration management database are maintained for the suite of application systems.
7. Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and RISE statement.
8. Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements (Applicant must meet all of the minimum requirements)
1. Bachelor’s degree;
2. One year of full-time or equivalent experience providing tier 2 support for a large-scale application system;
3. Experience with production-level programming in a procedural, object-oriented, or scripting language;
4. Experience developing queries in a SQL or Unidata-based database management system..

Preferred Qualifications
1. Three years of full-time or equivalent experience as an administrator of Ellucian Colleague;
2. Unidata database administration experience;
3. Experience integrating data across multiple application systems;
4. Experience with Linux/Unix as an application administrator or system administrator;
5. Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.

Total Compensation
Your total compensation goes beyond this maximum salary. Your A-B Tech benefits represent nearly 30% of your total compensation.

The total compensation for this position includes an 24.5% employer contribution to a defined pension plan, contributions towards medical and dental policies and fully funded life insurance / accidental death & dismemberment policy.
