Infinity Care of East LA is a 99-bed skilled nursing facility, located in the historic Boyle Heights neighborhood of East Los Angeles. We are currently in search of a dynamic and passionate individual who is a self-motivated, team player and experienced enough to fill the role of Admissions Coordinator. This role is responsible for leading census growth, admission activities, and internal marketing functions. We are interested in speaking to individuals who want to help provide high-quality care to families in the local community.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the inquiry process from start to finish
Obtain authorization from managed care payors such as Medicare, Medical or HMOs
Ensure all admission documents are properly filled out and inputted into the system
General Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care
Understand basic clinical terminology
Participate in meetings to alert appropriate staff members of projected admissions, room changes, discharges and appointments/tours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
