Job description
The Cleaner position provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.

General Responsibilities:

  • The employee is responsible for operating cabin service vehicle, including but not limited to cabin service truck and high lift trucks.
  • Effective operate current technology requires to track and process work orders.
  • Always perform equipment Pre-Ops check at the beginning of the shift in accordance with the ES&H manual.
  • Responsible for knowing and following all ABM’s and client polices and procedures for operating the designated service vehicles and equipment.
  • Adhere to all ADA and Air Carrier Access Act non-discrimination requirements.
  • Maintain driving record that meets company safety, driving standards.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients and regulatory authorities.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Language Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, employee handbooks and passenger boarding documents.
  • Ability to effectively present information, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills.

Math Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

General Company Requirements:

  • Employee must comply with the Company’s uniform and grooming standards and must wear his or her SIDA badge/Airport ID at all times.
  • Employee must comply with all guidelines and policies set forth in the Air Serv Corporation Employee Handbook. These policies include, but are not limited to, the Company’s Zero Tolerance Discrimination and Harassment Policy, Retaliation Policy, Ethics Policy, and Security Policy. Employee must also comply with regulatory agency requirements, including, but not limited to, the ADA, ACAA, DOT, TSA, FAA, and Federal, State, and Local authorities.

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience: Previous driving experience on the ramp at any airport preferred.

Overall: Must be 18 years of age or older. Must submit to and pass a drug screening.

All drivers must have a valid Air Serv Drivers Permit in order to drive any Air Serv or Client Vehicle. The Driver Permit must have the specific vehicle /equipment type checked and approved on the reverse side of the Drivers Permit for an employee to be qualified on that particular vehicle/equipment. Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge, and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successful completion of a background check and ten-year work history.
