Tacoma Power is accepting applications for Seasonal labor workers at the NisquallyHydro Project's Alder Lake Park located in Eatonville, WA. This Hydro Project generates clean, renewable electricity.

This is labor intensive work, working in a park booth checking in patrons, cleaning campsites and bathrooms, hauling garbage, painting, and grounds maintenance including mowing and weed eating. We rely on our staff to keep our parks clean and well-maintained, and to create a friendly atmosphere for our guests.

Individuals must be 18 or older to be eligible to be a Laborer.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Some experience performing grounds maintenance, mowing and weed eating, or similar manual labor;
  • Completion of the eighth grade.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Valid Driver's License

Appointment will be subject to passing a background check and a pre-employment medical exam and drug screen. This position is covered by a Labor Agreement between the City of Tacoma and Teamsters Local 117.
