Application and Product Architect

Expert Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for a Lead Application and Product Architect with an enterprise leader in Professional Information Services. In this role, you will be a part of defining the end state architecture and technology roadmap for increasing Serviceability and Reliability within our clients Tax and Accounting division.

This is a Direct Hire, 100% remote role with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Design architecture for the Self-Service based application for support and operations while also understanding current state of the product in production and the ability to react to quickly to remediate.
• Build architecture for the administrative tool(s) as a single window for multiple roles (Dev / ops / management / support) which will enable cross cutting functions to be easily performed.
• Work alongside multiple teams (Product Architect, Engineering) to strategize and implement the Serviceability and Resiliency architecture within each product.
• Recommend strategy for SaaS monitoring, performance improvements, and capacity planning for the overall serviceability of all the products.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years' experience in the serviceability-architecture with cloud exposure
• 2+ years’ experience in building architecture for large scale Cloud Native applications specifically around reliability, serviceability aspect of the SAAS platform build
• Demonstrated experience in building large cloud applications with collection of instrumentation data and design to use that data with a technology like ELK or relevant
• Experience in developing and deploying applications using containers and cloud orchestration environments like Kubernetes
• Experience in continuous delivery implementation for cloud native application(s)
• Experience in designing APIs with multiple communication options including REST, GraphQL, webhooks
• Experience in designing and architecting self-service-based portal that has multi-tiered environments for Dev, QA (Quality Analysis), Production
• Experience with Cloud Native services including IAAS / PAAS (platform as a service)
• Experience working within Scaled Agile Framework or large multi-site, Agile environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
