Overview: Works with Account Managers to develop the appropriate responses to customer requests for proposals.

- Interpret engineering data and customer specifications related to industry codes, valves, flanges, fittings, and engineering layouts
- Perform analyses of customer requirements to identify potential solutions and provide the appropriate process or equipment selection(s)
- Demonstrate capability of utilizing various computer-assisted methods of performing design / selection methods and calculations
- Utilize the appropriate resources to develop detailed cost estimates, as required, in support of quotation development.
- Construct the appropriate technical reports and quotations utilizing Microsoft Windows-based computer tools
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of the processes or equipment offered by Archrock
- Possesses a general understanding of the design/selection methods and calculations necessary to design or select the appropriate solution
- General knowledge of ASME, API, NEC, OSHA terms and guidelines
- General knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of natural gas treating, compression, and hydrocarbon processing in assigned area
Minimum Education and Certification:
- Engineering degree from an accredited institution
Minimum Experience:
- Typically 0-2 years of directly related experience
Leadership:
- No leadership responsibilities
