Recruiting a full time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse for the Electronic Intensive Care UnitAssess the patient by reviewing theEHR for severe sepsis septic shock or other deteriorating etiologyMonitoring inpatients inAdvocate Aurora IL and WI hospitalsTelehealth from one central location in Oak Brook Terrace IL12 hour shifts day coverage: 7a.m. - 7:30 p.m.Position Requirements: Masters of Nursing Degree as APRN~CNP2 years RN experience preferred1 year APRN~CNP experience in the relevant setting preferredWell~developed interpersonal and communication skills.Proficiency with an Electronic Medical RecordNational certification as a CNP from an accredited bodyCurrent Illinois APRN LicenseCurrent Illinois Registered Nurse license.Current Illinois Controlled Substance License within 6 months of hireEligible for DEA registration Possession of a current DEA Registration within six months of hire and may vary based on practice siteCurrent BLS CertificationCurrent PALS/ACLS certification may vary based on practice siteTravel may be requiredAbility to work varying hours and shifts to meet the needs of Advocate Health Care.
