The Architecture team has an opening for a creative and innovative Entry-Level Architectural Designer. DLR Group operates within a hybrid work model, supporting flexibility between office time and work from home.

Location: Seattle, WA

Position Summary:

As a Project Designer at DLR Group you will be responsible for project document development and coordinating with all project team members to maintain the quality of the work product within the established project schedule for large complex projects. As part of our integrated design teams you create buildings that elevate the human experience through design.

You will be responsible for managing, with assistance from Project Manager or more senior Project Architect, all aspects of the project document development and coordinating with all project team members to produce quality work product while adhering to project schedules.

The successful candidate will:

  • Identify and proposes technical solutions to design challenges.
  • Provide technical feedback in the conceptual development of project documents.
  • Produce accurate documents aligned with firm standards for project assignments.
  • Apply practice standards to project assignments.
  • Communicate to Project Manager progress of assignments according to the established project schedule and workplan.
  • Ensure project information is incorporated into project documents.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 0-3 years previous experience designing complex public and private projects.
  • A basic understanding of technical knowledge in architectural drafting and design.
  • Be proficient in the use of computer modeling and rendering software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An interest in sustainable design.
  • On track for professional licensure.

The potential pay range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000.
