GLO Resources is currently seeking Asphalt Laborers in New Orleans.
Must have 1-2 years’ experience working with Asphalt.
Asphalt laborers assist in the pouring, smoothing, and setting of asphalt on roads, pathways, and parking lots. The main role of the asphalt laborer is to look after the mat. This includes raking, sweeping, and lining out the road, as well as working alongside the tractor, mill, paver, and the screed.
Duties:
- Maintain asphalt production equipment, including paving machines, hot boxes, and plant equipment
- Clean and sanitize asphalt production equipment
- Establish and maintain relationships with asphalt suppliers
- Maintain records on asphalt equipment and inventories
- Procure asphalt materials, including aggregates, asphalt emulsion, and asphalt binder
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including purchase orders, delivery tickets, and use permits
- Perform inspection and maintenance of asphalt materials
Pay Rate: $15-20/hr
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
