Assistant Baseball Coach

Qualifications:

- Previous coaching or playing experience preferable at the college level

- In depth knowledge of a baseball position (prefer Catching, OF, Hitting)

Responsibilities:

- Attending practices during the entire baseball season (September – June)

- Attending home and away games during season

- Working with athletes in both a team setting and small group

- Attending weekly coaches meeting

- Willingness to aid in the recruiting process

- Work with a specific positional group (hitting, in-field, out-field, catchers preferred but pitching will be considered)

- Willing to work with someone who may have to miss the occasional away game or one practice a week.

Outlook

- Looking to build up a program with a fresh start. I need assistant coaches who will push our players daily and encourage them to continually improve athletically, academically, and as young men. We need 1-2 more coaches to truly run this team to success. Last year we re-started the culture and this year we will have the athletic skill to go with it.

Payment/opening

- 1 volunteer positions

- 1 paid positions with a small stipend $2-3K

- Have the ability to make more through camps/hitting lessons for youth in Wenatchee Valley. Lessons can be assisted by the head coach.
