Kinder Haus Child Care Center is a nationally accredited Tier III child care center located in the Westover area of Morgantown, WV. We are looking for an energetic, fun, loving individual to assist with caregiving and educational needs of children ages 3 months to 10 years. This is a full-time Monday through Friday position. The work hours will fall between 7am and 6pm. Hourly pay is contingent upon experience and education level.

Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED; WVIT or ACDS Certificate or beyond will be given preference

Minimum Experience Requirement: Previous experience working with children in a professional environment will be given preference

Minimum Skill Requirement: strong verbal and written communication skills; understanding of the principles of child development and early education; implementation of a positive classroom management system; provide high quality customer service; strong record keeping skills; multi-lingual a plus

Minimum Responsibilities: assist with the development and implementation of an early childhood curriculum in accordance with WV Child Care Licensing regulations, NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct, and the Kinder Haus mission, policies and procedures; employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, music and movement etc.); ability to guide children to build social/emotional development; supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times; maintain a clean and tidy classroom/work area

Minimum Employment Requirements: be determined eligible to work through the WV CARES reporting system and WV Department of Health and Human Resources Department of Protective Services; be reliable and dependable; maintain confidentiality; maintain cooperative working relationships
