A residential Property Management Company is seeking an Assistant Manager that is well motivated, well organized, detail oriented and able to work directly with the Property Manager.

Responsibilities
The Assistant Managers duties and desired characteristics include but are not limited:
- Processing lease renewals and all related forms that come with renewing a lease
- Collecting and processing resident rent checks
- Handle all details of move-ins and move-outs (SODAS), giving special attention to apartment inspection check-ins and check-outs
- Handling Delinquent Resident Accounts in accordance with company policies
- Accurate completion of all lease applications, including performing credit and background verification and notifying prospective residents of results.
- Work with attorneys regarding legal proceedings such as evictions
- Transfers
- Work with residents to resolve complaints
- Maintain tenant files
- Greet prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner.
- Physically inspect property on a daily basis and report any service needs to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to make sure that the buildings, grounds, and amenity areas are at its highest level of quality.
- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments.
- Job Requirements
- Prior residential property management experience is required with a minimum of two years as an Assistant Manager or Property Manager
- The ability to successfully handle multiple priorities
- Must have good problem solving and leadership skills
- Yardi and/or PayScan experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Reliable personal transportation
- This position is five days a week, Monday-Friday 9am-6pm but weekend shifts may be required due to business needs.
