Job Title: Assisted Living Caregiver

Location: 715 Delmore Dr, Roseau, MN 56751

Shift: Night Shift

Duration: 13 weeks

Job Summary

The assisted living caregiver participates in planning, organizing and facilitating the operations of the home. The assisted living caregiver works cooperatively with residents, co-workers, families, visitors and volunteers to create a positive and pleasant environment. This role performs combined duties of food service, housekeeping, activities, laundry and nursing.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

• Administer medications per policy and procedure.
• Assists in planning and implementing a variety of activities that meets the social, spiritual, intellectual, psychosocial and physical needs of the residents.
• Assists with activities of daily living.
• Maintaining a safe, comfortable and functional environment by assessing the household for potential hazards, utilizes appropriate techniques regarding sanitation, infection control, hazardous waste management, fire safety, disaster preparedness and emergency care.
• Demonstrates support for organizational fiscal viability through efficient and effective use of all resources of the household, including supplies and availability of resources.
• Dementia Sensitivity: able to demonstrate and nurture care practices for persons with dementia that meet needs while promoting individualized person-center care and sense of well-being.
