Overview: Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. (MSG Sports) is a leading professional sports company, with a collection of assets that includes: the New York Knicks (NBA) and the New York Rangers (NHL); two development league teams – the Westchester Knicks (NBAGL) and the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL); and esports teams through Counter Logic Gaming, a leading North American esports organization, and Knicks Gaming, an NBA 2K League franchise. - Lead creative development on advertising and social content/campaigns for the New York Rangers and New York Knicks
- Concept communication pieces from social and digital to TVC and experiential
- Write copy across Knicks & Rangers social, TV, OOH, email, web, app
- Work with designers and shooter-editors to create breakthrough pieces for every channel
- Develop strong working relationships with brand and social strategists
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or similar.
- 6+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, or brand content creation, preferably on a creative team in an agency or agency-style environment
- Background in copywriting
- Experience with strategy-based creative development. Thorough understanding of all aspects of print, video and new media design and production
- Flexibility to work non-traditional schedule/hours as needed to accommodate player and team schedules. Some travel may be required.
- Fluency with PowerPoint and Keynote
