Responsibilities:
- Develop customer ADAS sensor cleaning systems from first system concept through quote, prototyping, validation and towards a fully released product in mass production
- Ensure proactive requirements and risk management for all technical aspects
- Ensure that customer specifications as well as cost targets, design-to-manufacture and timing goals are met
- Knowledge about and compliance to the customer specific requirements
- Seek for and achieve customers’ buy in to utilize standardized development and validation testing, if and where useful and applicable
- Act as technical liaison between product development teams and the customer and all other internal functions like design, manufacturing and industrialization
- Supervise product testing including handling of hazardous substances, interpretation of test results, introduction of the necessary actions and modifications as required to ensure that all requirements are met
- Support flawless launches by planning and controlling all technical issues related to assigned project and support the Program Manager in delivering highest quality solutions to our customers
- Provide product engineering expertise in a professional manner during customer visits and audits, with the team as well as in collaboration with other departments (e.g. manufacturing)
- Act as a Technical Project Lead Engineer with responsibility for a technical team in small/medium complex projects
Experience:
- Degree in Mechanical or Electronical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable education
- Ideally experience in automotive engineering for complex mechatronics systems
- Injection molding product design knowledge including welding and assembly is a strong plus
- Willingness for frequent business travels
