Job description
Nova Biomedical is hiring an Associate Technical Writer to prepare technical documentation for Nova Biomedical products including Instructions for Use Manuals, Quick Reference Guides, Service Manuals and Training Manuals.
More specific responsibilities will include:
- Gather information about the product functions, features, and requirements to be included in each technical document.
- Using appropriate desktop publishing tools, document information pertaining to the Operation, Maintenance and Service of specific Nova Biomedical products in a clear and concise format.
- Generates the necessary Engineering Change Orders to release and/or revise technical manuals as needed.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree, I - 3 years writing experience.
- Familiarity with desktop publishing in a Macintosh environment using Adobe InDesign and other appropriate applications is desired.
- An understanding of medical diagnostic products including IVDD requirements is desirable.
- The ability to read and understand a foreign language is a plus.
